Phototherapy with narrow band ultraviolet B (Narrow Band UVB) is the latest advance in the treatment of vitiligo and other skin pigmentation problems as it has no undesirable side effects and is much more melanogenic than PUVA. Therefore, it can be given to children and pregnant women.
